Southwest Process Control carries various Concoa models including single stage, dual stage, backpressure, distribution, switchover systems, alarm stations, flowmeters, and valves and gauges appropriate for various applications. We carry the following regulators:
The Concoa Regulator
- Single stage or dual stage available depending on application
- 1×10-9 cc/sec Helium leak integrity
- Brass, aluminum, and 316L stainless steel bodies in forging or barstock
- Stainless steel diaphragms with Teflon coated neoprene an option
- Various cylinder connections
- Special designs available for particular applications
The Capsule
Concoa had developed a unique regulator seat assembly – The Capsule. The Capsule is the heart of the Concoa Regulator and consists of seven components in a single assembly for easy maintenance.
- A positive seat stop prevents cold flow of the Teflon seat
- Lateral flow passages prevents direct impingement on the diaphragm
- Multiple orifice sizes allows flow to be customized to customer’s application
- PTFE Teflon seat provides positive closure; inert material resists oxygen ignition
- High load marginal spring provides positive seat closure force, even at low pressures
- 10 micron inlet filter prevents particulate from damaging the seat and minimizes creep heat sink
