Instrumentation Pipe Fittings
Hy-Lok precision pipe fittings are designed for instrumentation and process control. Hy-Lok provides a wide assortment of thread combinations and sizes for easy transition from one thread design to another or to accommodate increases and reductions in thread sizes.
Specifications include:
- Many different connections and configurations.
- Standard materials are S316, brass, and carbon steel.
- Size ranges from 1/8” thru 2” NPT.
- Precision thread construction to ensure leak-free and reliable systems.
- Working pressure calculated in accordance with power piping code ANSI B31.1 and refinery piping code ANSI B31.3.

Face Seal Fittings

ZCR Face Seal Fittings
The ZCR Face Seal Fitting is designed to be completely intermixable with other manufacturers of high purity face seal fittings and valves. The design of two sealing beads compressing a metal gasket is the standard for the semiconductor industry. Highly polished surface finishes of Hy-Lok ZCR fittings equals no leaks in high-vacuum and positive-pressure applications. VAR and VIM-VAR raw materials are purchased with tightly controlled sulphur content for welding repeatability.
- Metal gasket seal meets or exceeds specifications of the semiconductor industry.
- Hy-Lok ZCR fittings have been tested to hold and exceed a leak rate of 10-9 torr.
- Tube connections to 1” O.D.
ZCO Face Seal Fittings
Hy-Lok ZCO face seal fittings are available in sizes 1/4″ through 1” with a variety of configurations. ZCO fittings are used for zero clearance applications from vacuum to high pressure and temperatures up to 550° F. Standard material is 316 stainless steel, 316L for weldable glands with other materials available upon request.
